Electricity Calculator

The electricity calculator will calculate the difference between the electricity charges raised by COJ and those calculated by MAAS.
The difference, if any, will be shown under Outputs in the Savings column.
Please note that the calculator is only valid for COJ tariff years commencing 1 Jul 2014 and not prior years.
The calculator does not calculate the Demand side management levy, Service charge and Network charge.

Instructions for  Electricity Calculator (Domestic Tariffs)

    1. Turn to page 2 of your electricity account. (See example below) and look for:
      • the line that says: Reading period = to (See second last line of City Power Account below) and
      • the line that says “Charges for ________ kWh are based on a sliding scale for a day period. (See second last line of City Power Account below.)
    2. Enter the first date into the Start Date Input Box above.
    3. Enter the second date into the End Date Input Box above.
    4. Enter the Charges for figure in Consumption Input Box above.
    5. Enter the number of units in the complex in the Units Input Box above. (Single residences enter 1.)
